The IUGA Public Forum is a public event held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of pelvic floor disorders, educate women and caregivers about such disorders, and empower women to be informed partners in planning for the care of any pelvic floor disorders they experience.
This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, September 1 from 2:30pm – 5:00pm. We are working with local practitioners and partners to plan and promote the event, which will be presented in Dutch. Speakers will include physicians, physiotherapists, and a representative from a local patient organization. The Public Forum is open to any member of the public interested in learning more about pelvic floor disorders and treatment options.
The 2020 IUGA Public Forum Planning Committee members are: Robert Hakvoort, Kirsten Kluivers, Erica Janszen, Clasien van der Houwen, and Kalaivani Ramalingam.
