International Academy of Pelvic Surgery (IAPS)

The founders of the International Academy of Pelvic Surgery (IAPS), Dr. Mark Walters, Dr. Mickey Karram and Cheryl Perrero, generously donated the IAPS platform and all of its contents to IUGA last year. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work in creating this amazing resource, their kind decision to gift it to IUGA, and all they have done for IAPS and the field of Urogynecology! We are truly honored that they are entrusting IUGA to carry on this legacy. We are excited to announce that today, IAPS has officially integrated with IUGA!

What Does This Mean for You?

As an IUGA member, you will enjoy the entire IAPS content, which includes more than 500 surgical videos, articles and other resources. The integration of IAPS into the IUGA Academy is a significant enhancement to our members' benefits, offering a wealth of high-quality surgical content. In addition to the current content, we will curate monthly videos and surgical articles to keep our content fresh and up-to-date. This ongoing effort will ensure that IUGA remains the premier destination for urogynecologists seeking to refine their surgical skills.

As an IAPS member, the main change for you is that all IAPS resources will now be accessible through the IUGA Academy. IAPS is Set to Stay Relevant

To support the integration of this valuable content and expand on the available resources, we are establishing a Surgical Committee. This committee will be co-chaired by Catherine Matthews and Mark Walters and will curate monthly videos and articles on various techniques for all kinds of female pelvic surgery, to enrich your educational experience.
