We are now accepting nominations for the following elected positions within IUGA:
Board of Directors
- Vice President – 2-year term (+ 2-year term as President followed by 2-year term on the Board as Immediate Past President)
- Treasurer – 2-year term, renewable once
International Advisory Board (IAB)
- Africa Representative – 3-year term, non-renewable
Committee Chairs
- Scientific Committee Chair – 2-year term, renewable once
- Social Media Committee Chair – 2-year term, renewable once
- Terminology & Standardization Committee Chair – 2-year term, renewable once
Nominating Committee
- Member-at-Large (2) – 2-year term, non-renewable (2 positions)
IUGA seeks to have members in leadership positions who represent the geographic and multidisciplinary nature of the association. Members from Africa, Asia, and Latin America are therefore especially encouraged to apply, as well as non-physician members from all regions.
Nominations for the elected positions above will be accepted from March 17, 2022, until 11:59pm CDT on May 18, 2022. The term for each of these positions will begin January 1, 2023.
