COMMITTEE CHAIR REPORT FROM PAKISTAN
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the committee members for their enthusiastic work and support in making the third international biennial hybrid conference of Pakistan urogynaecologist association (PUGA) a success. Their was a special emphasis on including international speakers from the Asia Oceana region and globally to get a wider perspective on different problems in the sub speciality. Distinguished speakers contributed to a high quality content and ensured their virtual interaction despite the differences in time zones and their clinical commitments. We are truly indebted to all of them.
The Urogynaecology committee of Asia Oceana federation of obstetrics and gynaecology (AOFOG) picked up from the collaborative biannual international hybrid meetings hosted by Taiwan urogynaecologist association (TUGA) in December 2022. The third international biannual hybrid conference of Pakistan urogynaecologist association (PUGA) was the second activity in the series of proposed activities to be held in the two years tenure of this committee. It was held in collaboration with Society of Obstetricians and gynaecologists, Pakistan (SOGP). It was endorsed by International urogynaecologist association(IUGA) and AOFOG.
A series of workshops were conducted by our provincial vice presidents and their executive members. To name a few, workshops were conducted on urodynamics made easy, sacrospinous fixation, sacrocolpopexy, safe hysterectomy, safe laparoscopic hysterectomy. The inaugral session was held on Feb 24, 2023. It was chaired by the health minister who offered unconditional support for the cause of enhancing provision of urogynaecology services for our patients and to promote research. Chair urogynaecology committee, AOFOG gave the inaugural speech on line.

The hybrid nature of the event allowed a wider participation both by the speakers and the audience. We had around three hundred people who attended the event on-site and online. The certificates were awarded to and by president PUGA, Prof Haleema Hashmi and other speakers. The international speakers were awarded e-certificates.
We look forward to future opportunities for working in collaboration to improve the healthcare provision for our women population with pelvic floor disorders.
