Tell us about your work—your job title, where you work, years of experience, areas of focus or research, and what inspired you to pursue your career.

I am an Assistant Professor at MUSC in the Division of Urogynecology and Reproductive Pelvic Surgery, Dept of ObGyn. My clinical focus includes pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, and minimally invasive surgical approaches that help improve women’s quality of life. What inspired me to pursue this field was the opportunity to care for women through health challenges that really impact their ability to live their best lives. I’m passionate about helping patients regain comfort, confidence, and quality of life, while combining compassionate care with innovative, evidence-based treatment options. I love that my work allows me to build long-term relationships with patients and make a meaningful impact on their everyday lives.

What motivated you to join IUGA, and what does being a member mean to you?

My mentor, Steve Swift, and the impact that he has been able to make internationally through his work in IUGA. Additionally, it is so wonderful to meet the international Urogyn community and collaborate in advancing patient care together.
