IUGA is celebrating a significant milestone this year - its 50th Annual Meeting! Since its inaugural meeting in Mexico City in 1976, IUGA has grown into a dynamic global network, now uniting over 3000 members across the globe.
Over the past five decades, IUGA has advanced the field of urogynecology through education, research, advocacy, and collaboration. To commemorate this journey, IUGA has produced a 50th Anniversary Book. This curated publication highlights key moments in IUGA’s history and honors the volunteers, leaders and all members whose dedication and vision have helped shape the organization into what it is today.
This book stands as a tribute to the shared mission of improving the quality of life for women affected by pelvic floor disorders. As a gesture of appreciation, the book will be gifted to supporters who contribute €50 or more to FIUGA, our charitable foundation. FIUGA’s mission is to improve the lives of women with pelvic floor disorders by promoting education and research for healthcare providers around the world. Your donation will help support training and essential resources for underserved regions. For donations made until June 1st, you will be able to collect your IUGA 50th Anniversary Book in person at the IUGA Annual Meeting.
In addition to the book, IUGA will host a 50th Anniversary Museum Exhibit at the Annual Meeting in Barcelona this year. The exhibit will offer an interactive journey through the organization's history, showcasing influential leaders and the global impact of IUGA’s work over the past 50 years.
Join us in celebrating this milestone and shaping the next 50 years of progress in urogynecology.
