Jorge Milhem Haddad is the Chair of the Urogynecology Section of Hospital das Clinicas da Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil, as well as the Past President of the Brazilian Urogynecology Society. He joined the IUGA Board at the beginning of 2019 as Vice President and assumed the role of IUGA President on January 1, 2021.

I started to work as an urogynecologist in 1996. I created 2 pelvic floor units in 2 different hospitals in Barcelona.
Since 2009 I‘ve been working in Hospital Clinic of Barcelona leading the pelvic floor surgery. It is a 3 rd level hospital and a lot of complicated cases are sent to our unit for surgical o non surgical correction. In 2018 we published a randomized control trial comparing sacrocolpopexy with Elevate anterior. It is an ongoing study.
Since 2004 I have organised regularly pelvic floor cadaver workshop in different Universities all over Spain and Europe

Actualmente Especialista Sénior en Hospital Clínic de Barcelona con experiencia en Uroginecología y Sexología Clínica, formando parte de la Unidad de uroginecología y del Grupo de Trabajo de Sexología Clínica. Profesora en Uroginecología y Sexología Clínica en las clases de Ginecología y Obstetrícia del grado de Medicina de la Universitat de Barcelona y en la formación de residentes del Hospital Clínic de Barcelona. 9 artículos publicados en revistas nacionales e internacionales con factor de impacto en el campo de la uroginecología y la sexología clínica. Participación como líderes clínicos en proyecto europeo H2020: Cost Effective Self-Management of Urinary Incontinence Addressed to Women Across Europe (WOMEN-UP).
