The first ever IUGA Journal Club Session took place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
The IUGA Journal Club is an interactive online academic session designed to critically evaluate recently published scientific articles across women’s health, pelvic floor medicine, and related clinical research fields. Each session includes a structured presentation of a selected study, a focused discussion of its methodology and clinical relevance, and a concise overview of key research guidelines to strengthen critical appraisal skills. Led by expert faculty, the Journal Club aims to enhance participants’ understanding of study design, interpretation of results, and the practical application of evidence-based medicine in clinical practice, followed by an interactive discussion and Q&A.
