Tell us about where you currently live (city/country) and how you ended up in this location.

I was born and grew up in the eastern Nepal now relocated to the capital. I finished my MBBS from IOM, TU in 1996. Then I worked as a physician in pheripheral areas. I did my MD in OBS/GYN from IOM. Currently I am working as a senior consultant in Kathmandu Model Hospital,in the capital city of Nepal

Tell us about your work - your job title, where you work, how long you've worked in the field, areas of focus or research, etc.

I currently work as Professor at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Institutional Review Committee (IRC) of phect-NEPAL, Kathmandu Model Hospital. I also work as editor of several biomedical journals. My current project is 'Sacrospinous fixation for prevention of vault prolapse for POP repair cases ' and Managing Obstetric Fistula in Nepal.

When and why did you decide to join IUGA?

I was associated with IUGA since 2015. I joined IUGA out of my interest in Urogynecology.

What has been your most rewarding or memorable IUGA experience?

When I was invited to join in the IUGA Board Meeting in Cape Town, South Africa few years back.

What is the last book you read or movie you saw? Would you recommend it?

Anne Frank- The Diary of a Young Girl, Yes I recommend

What are your hobbies? What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Read and write, watch reality shows. I love to travel with my family.

What is one "fun fact" about you?

If I start a work I never leave it incomplete.
