This core report on childbirth trauma is designed to incorporate all developments in knowledge and practice in the last 14-15 years; achieve and exceed the overall clarity, specificity and coverage of similar documents; and prompt the development of follow-on reports: e.g. on surgical and conservative managements, on pelvic floor, urinary tract, anorectal function and dysfunction and sexual health. This report includes the following sections: Symptoms, Signs, Investigations, Imaging, Main Diagnoses, and Treatments.
