The Terminology and Standardization Committee is dedicated to developing and maintaining standardized terminology for urogynecology. By creating clear, consistent definitions and reporting standards, the committee supports high-quality research, improves communication among healthcare professionals, and helps ensure that clinical practice and scientific publications use a common language across the specialty.

- Lower urinary tract symptoms
- Urinary tract infections
- Pregnancy and delivery after pelvic floor procedures
- Pelvic organ prolapse classification and reporting
- Reporting outcomes of pelvic organ prolapse surgery
- Neuro-urogynecology terminology, including female voiding dysfunction
- Ongoing development and refinement of standardized terminology to support research, education, and clinical practice worldwide
