IUGA is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2019 IUGA Observership Grants. Observership grants are awarded in three categories: one $4,000 USD grant to a trainee, fellow, or physician-in-training; one $4,000 USD grant to a consultant from a least developed country as defined by the World Bank; and one $2,000 grant to an IUGA member who does fit either of the other categories.
Boukary Kabre (Burkina Faso) is the recipient in the Trainee/Fellow/Physician-in-Training category. He will be observing at the University of Cape Town & Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.
Bohdan Bidovanets (Ukraine) is the recipient in the Least Developed Country category. He will be observing at Monash Medical Center in Melbourne, Australia.
Omar Duenas Garcia (USA) is the recipient not fitting into of the other award categories. He will be observing at Croydon University Hospital in the United Kingdom.
